Introduction To Scent Detection

 

This 4 week program is designed to give you and your canine partner a peak into the world of scent detection. Another amazing tool to have in your training toolbox. During the 4 week program you will be working through learning to teach indication and scent recognition.

Scent Detection provides intense mental stimulation, boosts confidence and strengthens the human-canine bond. Detection training fulfills natural instincts in dogs. Problem-solving activities like scent games help to improve focus, patience and cognitive function, making it great for all dogs, especially anxious or reactive ones.

Classes Start January 28 th 2026 at 5pm

Group Classes

Focuses of lifestyle obedience development with games and fun real life replications. Working on basic commands, socialization, preventing bad habits and developing confidence in both yourself and your canine partner. Our program objective is to guide you in the development of a solid foundation for your canine, ensuring they grow to be a balanced and well-mannered dog.

Classes are Wednesdays 2026

Location: Gravenhurst Scout Hall

Time: 1st class starts at 6 pm, 2nd class starts at 7 pm
